New Mexico School for the Arts is a public/private partnership comprised of a public statewide charter high school and a nonprofit arts education institution. Through the State Equalization Guarantee, the New Mexico Public Education Department provides NMSA with the funds necessary to run the academic classes at NMSA. Costs for the arts programs, including teachers, materials, master classes, applied lessons instructors, as well as residential costs are generated through the NMSA- Art Institute.
The accessibility of NMSA to young people from around the state guarantees that students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the arts will be able to nurture their gifts in a mastery arts program, regardless of their geographic location or socio-economic background. Your contribution, in the form of an unrestricted tax-deductible gift will help ensure the continuation of the well-rounded and inspiring curriculum that only NMSA can provide.
