Art Fee Payments
Every school year, we ask each student’s family to pay a voluntary $1,000 Arts Fee to help cover the costs of NMSA’s mastery arts programming.
The funding that NMSA receives from the state covers only a portion of our arts block. The rest is funded by the NMSA-Art Institute, which raises over $2.4 million annually to ensure that we have the amazing arts program we all know and love: three hours a day of art instruction from working artists, supplies, costumes, sets, guest artists, field trips, exhibitions, and performances on professional stages.
We ask that you pay as much of the tax-deductible $1,000 annual Art Fee as is affordable for your family. We are grateful for any amount your family pays between $1 and $1,000 toward the Art Fee. Please note that payment of the Art Fee does not affect your student’s enrollment at NMSA.
We understand that every family has a unique financial situation. This year, we are introducing a sliding scale for Art Fee payments to better accommodate each family.
Please consider paying what you can based on your family income.
