Theatre Department Presents: “The Diviners”

Description: Join us for a powerful evening of live theater as we bring The Diviners to life on stage. Don’t miss this emotionally rich, beautifully acted production that will leave you thinking—and feeling—long after the curtain falls.

Set in the Dust Bowl-era town of Zion, Indiana, The Diviners is a gripping story of a community caught between memory and hope, faith and reason. This production features a dynamic ensemble cast that brings 1930s small-town America to vivid life, capturing both the grit and grace of a people searching for purpose.

Description: Join us for our second annual Tombstone Tales Reading! This will be an evening of spooky storytelling and paralyzing poetry! Don’t forget to dress up in the haunting spirit.

Event Description:“Perspective | Lost & Found”
2025 “Perspective” Jurors:  Jared Weiss, Santa Fe Community College Painting & Drawing Department Head, Jaime Herrell, Co-Owner of Duende Gallery and Curator

“Perspective” is the annual juried Visual Arts Department exhibition, curated by outside jurors selected for their impact and role in our regional arts community.  Jurors are invited to curate a selective exhibition of 9-12th grade visual arts student artworks in the Thaw Visual Arts Gallery on the campus of NMSA (500 Montezuma Ave., Santa Fe, NM 87501)

Description: Join us for our first public reading of the 25-26 school year! The Autumn Equinox Reading will be an event to celebrate the arrival of fall. Come enjoy the beautiful, autumnal writings of our Creative Writing students.

Visual Arts Department Presents: “All for One” Exhibition

Date & Time: Opening Reception Friday September 12, 2025 5-7 pm

Location: NMSA’s Thaw Visual Arts Gallery, 500 Montezuma Ave.

Description: Each year in the early Fall, the Visual Arts Department at NMSA launches the school year with an all department exhibition, “All for One”, located in the Thaw Visual Arts Gallery on the campus of NMSA (500 Montezuma Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87501).  Students are given a set of gentle parameters, such as a support to work on, and given an opportunity to develop their own vision and voice in the creation of a unique artwork.
