Don’t worry. Those young people flitting around Santa Fe’s watershed aren’t looking to poison your drinking water.

Instead, they’re preparing for the premiere this weekend of SHED, a dance piece choreographed and performed by 26 dancers with the New Mexico School for the Arts as part of its Inside/Out Series. The free performances will be 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12, at the Water History Park and Museum, 1209 Upper Canyon Road.

The dance is described as exploring “our communities’ multicultural histories and their links to the privatization of water…”

While they’re free, tickets are limited, and you can get them from www.nmschoolforthearts.org.
