Choreography Showcase

This year at NMSA, we are hosting a student Choreography Showcase. The work created for this program has an inherent relationship to and is a direct product of the times that we are living in. Through a process of free writing, internal inquiry, peer and instructor feedback, each student sought to create a work that is both personal and intended to impact the viewer thoughtfully and with purpose. What came out of this exercise is a collection of poignant and powerful statements that reflect the human experience in an age of isolation and personal confrontation.
