First Friday Performances
We hope you can join us on the first Friday of each month in the Zane Bennett Gathering Space at NMSA to get a sneak peek of students performing in an informal setting for their peers and teachers. These will start at either 3:35 or 4:05 depending on the line up. These recitals are not open to the public, but our NMSA families, faculty, students, supporters, and administrators are welcome to attend!
Honor Orchestra Festival Participants!
All six of our string students who auditioned for the Regional Honor Orchestra Festival have been accepted! The Festival brings together the most advanced high school musicians from across north central New Mexico, making this a truly remarkable opportunity for our students to collaborate with their peers and perform at the highest level. Our students will participate in an intensive, day-long event featuring clinics, rehearsals, and sectionals with distinguished instructors. The Festival concludes with a public concert at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 4th at the Duane Smith Auditorium, located at Los Alamos High School. We encourage you to attend the concert and support our talented musicians!
