“Perspective” is the annual juried Visual Arts Department exhibition, curated by outside jurors selected for their impact and role in our regional arts community. Jurors are invited to curate a selective exhibition of 9-12th grade visual arts student artworks in the Thaw Visual Arts Gallery. Students may submit up to three pieces for consideration, exploring any medium they choose with guidance from their teachers and mentors. This year’s exhibition will revolve around the student-suggested theme of “Pasión, Cultura, e Historia,” encouraging each artist to reflect on their home culture and traditions. This exhibition not only supports students’ pre-professional training and exposure to the art world but also provides a valuable opportunity for self-expression. We are very excited to announce our Guest Jurors for 2024 are: Hoka Skenandore and Claire Motsinger (VA Alumn ‘16) – We hope to see you there!
