Highlights and New Beginnings

Holiday Student Art Fair: A Big Win for Students and Supplies
The Visual Arts Department wrapped up 2024 with its first-ever Student Art Fair, and by all accounts, it was a major success. Held from December 12–14, the event raised over $3,500 for the Visual Arts Supply Fund while students earned an equal amount from their individual sales. This event was a hands-on opportunity for students to experience the realities of marketing and selling their art. They gained pre-professional skills in branding, pricing, public relations, and retail while handling responsibilities like sales tracking, setup, and cleanup. Some students went the extra mile, developing and promoting their own branding and marketing strategies.
